Nearby attractions

  • Sacré-Coeur Basilica: (10 minute-walk) Located on Butte Montmartre, the Sacré-Coeur Basilica is a monument that can be seen from very afar, wherever you are in Paris. The views seen from it are exceptional in Paris. The Basilica, Romano-Byzantine style, was built at the end of 19th century. Since its opening, the church received the title of Basilica, i.e. “place of pilgrimage”. You will admire the largest mosaic of the world, covering 475 m2, wonderfully stained glasses, a large organ and the dome of 83 meters. Visiting the Dome you will have an unspeakable view of more than 50km around. Take the Montmartre funicular to reach it: a very attractive means of transport.
  • Opera Garnier: (20-minute walk): Built in 1860 by the young architect Charles Garnier with his vision of a new opera, he designed the "Opera Garnier" in the style of the Second Empire. It was completed in 1875 at the beginning of the Third Republic. It was the largest opera theatre in the world staging enough for 450 players.
